Meet Mrs. Nicole & Family:
Hello parents & guardians, I am Mrs. Nicole, and this is my family. I am 37 years old and been married to this wonderful hard-working loving family man for 16 years & counting. These are our two older school aged children. I've been in the childcare industry since 2013. Before getting into this business, I worked many years in the retail/grocery/customer service industry until my company decide to close their doors. After closing I was able to be more involved with my children's early head start & head start programs. I volunteered a lot of my time. Volunteering all that time in the classrooms I learned so much. I stumbled upon my passion working with children. The teachers and staff I worked with gave me the idea of becoming a childcare home. So, I decided to do some research into opening up a childcare. Shortly after I signed up & took all the required trainings through CCR&R, ODHS, & Childcare Licensing Division. I opened up my own in-home childcare because I want to offer a safe, trusting, fun and loving place for children while their parents are away. I started as a legally exempt childcare provider in 2013 and worked my way up to a licensed registered family childcare home in 2015-Currently Active.
Mrs. Nicole's Experience:
I've been doing In-Home childcare for the David Douglas School District community for 10 years and counting. I've been volunteering and working with children for 13 years and that's with setting aside my 16 years of motherly experience. I've volunteered at our local elementary school in 2014-2016. I've volunteered at Mt. Hood Community College early head start & head start programs in 2010-2013. I have a beautiful character reference from the director and staff at Mt Hood Community College early head start program. I also have many great references with families I've worked with throughout the years.
